“I have been dancing on-and-off for over 30 years and have had a number of instructors for both group classes and individual instruction. Heather is one of the best ballroom instructors I have met. I have a couple requirements for a good class/lesson; I need to learn something, and I want to have fun doing it. I am not an easy student. I tend to be overly hard on myself when tackling something challenging. This promotes a somewhat sour mood unless there is something to counter my frustration. Heather will work with me to identify the specific move that is challenging me, so that we can find a way to overcome the problem. But most importantly, we will usually be cheerful and upbeat at the end of the session.”
